Creditora is a credit broker, not a lender. We work with a panel of established UK lenders and finance providers to help match customers with suitable finance options.

Creditora is a trading style of Trust Claims Pro Ltd (registered in England and Wales, Companies House no. 16450633), an Appointed Representative of Hotpond Media Ltd, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Trust Claims Pro Ltd FCA firm reference number: 1053862.

2. Eligibility

To submit an enquiry through our services, you should:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be a UK resident
  • Have a regular source of income
  • Hold a valid UK bank account
  • Not currently be bankrupt or subject to an IVA

Meeting these criteria does not guarantee approval for finance.

3. Credit Searches

By submitting an enquiry through our website, you understand that lenders or finance providers may carry out credit and affordability checks to assess your eligibility for finance products.

This may include soft credit searches and, where you proceed with a full application directly with a lender, hard credit searches which may be recorded on your credit file.

4. Finance Agreements

Any finance agreement entered into will be between you and the lender or finance provider.

Creditora does not provide loans directly and is not responsible for lending decisions made by third-party lenders or finance providers.

If approved, the lender or finance provider will provide you with details including:

  • Loan amount
  • Interest rate and APR
  • Repayment schedule
  • Total amount repayable
  • Any applicable fees or charges

Any cooling-off rights or cancellation periods will be governed by the lender's agreement and applicable law.

5. Repayments

Repayments relating to any finance agreement will be managed directly between you and the lender or finance provider.

Creditora is not responsible for collecting repayments or managing loan accounts.

6. Missed or Late Payments

Missing payments on a finance agreement may:

  • Affect your credit score
  • Result in fees or additional interest from the lender
  • Lead to recovery or collections activity by the lender
  • Impact your ability to obtain finance in the future

If you experience financial difficulties, you should contact your lender directly as soon as possible.

7. Early Repayment

Early repayment options, settlement figures, and any applicable charges will be determined by your lender or finance provider.

Please contact your lender directly for information regarding early repayment.

8. Default

In the event of default under a finance agreement, the lender or finance provider may:

  • Report missed payments or defaults to credit reference agencies
  • Instruct debt collection agencies
  • Commence legal recovery action
  • Demand repayment in accordance with the finance agreement

Creditora is not responsible for recovery or enforcement activity undertaken by lenders or finance providers.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our services, legal requirements, or regulatory obligations.

10. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with our service, please contact us using the details provided on our Contact page or within our Complaints Procedure.

We aim to acknowledge complaints promptly and resolve them fairly and efficiently.

If you remain dissatisfied, you may have the right to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service where applicable.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
